Every person longs to know that their life matters. We all ask questions like, why am I here? What is God’s plan for my life? Am I walking in His purpose? These questions become especially important during seasons of change, disappointment, or uncertainty.
The Bible assures us that our lives are not accidents. Before we were born, God knew us, loved us, and prepared good works for us to accomplish. His purpose for our lives is far greater than personal success, wealth, or recognition. He created us to know Him, glorify Him, love others, and faithfully serve His kingdom.
Throughout Scripture, God called ordinary people to extraordinary purposes. Moses was called to lead Israel out of Egypt. Esther was placed in a royal palace “for such a time as this.” Jeremiah was appointed as a prophet before his birth. The disciples left their occupations to become fishers of men. Each person discovered that God’s plans were greater than anything they could have imagined.

Heavenly Father, thank You for creating me with purpose and intention. Help me to trust that Your plans are greater than my own and that You are faithfully directing my steps according to Your perfect will. Give me wisdom to recognize the opportunities You place before me and courage to obey You even when the path is uncertain. Teach me to live each day for Your glory, serving others with humility and reflecting the love of Christ in everything I do.
